Dear Hume Tennis Members and Community,
I know we are all very disappointed and very surprised on the news we have received that tennis facilities are not able to reopen, but Hume is still optimistic on the prospective return to tennis and are ready and eager to return as a COVID Safe facility.
With Victoria in the midst of its second COVID-19 lockdown, and while the first nationwide lockdown did not allow tennis to be played, it has been shown that there has been no known community transmission in any tennis or golf clubs. Read more……
Hume Tennis and Community Centre will reopen after the Victorian State Government announced a relaxation of the COVID-19 restrictions that saw Hume close six weeks ago.
North Suburban Junior Tennis Association (NSJTA) is back for the second half of 2020 and Hume Tennis, a Craigieburn Tennis Club, welcomes new and old players. Tennis is and ideal social distancing sport and is one of the safest sports for children to play during these times……

Unfortunately due the COVID-19 pandemic Hume Tennis is closed from March 29th – until further notice. This unfortunately means the Active Holiday Program, Tennis Victoria and Tennis Australia tournaments and tennis camps will not be going ahead over the Easter school holidays.
Hume Tennis yesterday met with an infectious disease specialist who declared Hume Tennis and Community Centre a safer place to be for families than supermarkets or schools.

Hume Tennis & Community Centre, one of Australia’s best tennis complexes, situated in Craigieburn, is transforming into an Interactive Live Site for this summer’s 2019 Australian Open. Each day and night for 14 days everyone is welcome to watch the Australian Open on a cinema sized outdoor LED screen and then jump on the courts to imitate their favourite players’ best shots.
Hume Tennis Community Centre are celebrating Ash Barty’s well-deserved win at the French Open by offering FREE Come ‘n Try lessons and 15% off storewide in the Hume Tennis Pro Shop, for the rest of June.
