Two of Hume Tennis and Community Centre tennis coaches: Lisa Whybourn and James Connelly have been selected as Tennis Australia Talent 10’s coaches for the 2018 upcoming tennis season. Super 10s is a competition held over seven weeks for boys and girls aged 10/u. The program is run Australia-wide.

Hume Tennis and Community Centre (HTCC) has won a prestigious Newcombe Medal for “Australian Tennis Tournament of the Year 2017”. The Melbourne Wheelchair Tennis Open was held from January 17th – 21st, 2017. The award was presented to HTTC by Daria Gabrilova at a gala ceremony held at Crown Casino on Monday November 27th, 2017.
Hume Tennis and Community Centre was awarded ” 2017 Victorian Tournament of the Year” at the Victorian Awards held at The Park, Albert Park in Melbourne on Monday October 23rd. The award was for the 2017 Melbourne Wheelchair Tennis Open which sees the best wheelchair players in the world compete.
