Hume Tennis and Community Centre is celebrating Ash Barty’s well-deserved win at the French Open by offering FREE Come ‘n Try lessons and 15% off storewide in the Hume Tennis Pro Shop, for the rest of June.
Tim Connelly Hume Tennis Director said, “This is such a wonderful achievement by Ash that we want to celebrate her win with everyone.”
“So many people play tennis and get a lot of enjoyment watching tennis on the TV, and this makes you want to get out on the court and have a hit – even if it’s been a while since you have played,” Connelly went on to say.
Ash’s win has a link to Hume through her coach Craig Tyzzer. Tyzzer, who grew up in Oak Park was Connelly’s first tennis coach. “Knowing Craig and how personable he is – doesn’t surprise how he has helped Ash become a Grand Slam champion and now the number 2 player in the world,” said Connelly.
Barty is also part of the Head Tennis Team – she plays with the Head Graphene Speed, and it’s why the Hume Tennis Pro Shop is offering 15% off storewide on all Head rackets, apparel, shoes, accessories for the rest of June.
If you were watching the French Open and now have the itch to get out there and play then why not try one of the programs at Hume Tennis, for all levels and ages.
Tennis Australia’s Hot Shots is ideal for the juniors while Cardio Tennis and Social tennis are perfect for adults. Hume also has Book a Court which gives anyone digital access to club from 6am-11pm.
