If you are looking to get into tennis or just want to come and enjoy a great day with the family then the Hume Tennis’s Family Day on Sunday 13th February 10am-1pm is the place.
Hume Tennis and Community Centre is a Craigieburn Tennis Club and is one of Tennis Victoria’s top 10 tennis clubs. Hume tennis is recognised as a mini Melbourne Park open 7-days a week and programs for all ages and levels.
This years Family Day will also feature – 13 Active Inflatables that the adults will enjoy just as much as the kids. The inflatables are designed to enhance sporting skills in a fun and competitive way – a sure hit with everyone who comes.
On the tennis side there will be: ANZ Tennis Hot Shots for the kids, Cardio Tennis and Tennis Australia’s newly released Open Court Sessions for the adults, wheelchair tennis, fast serve court and free tennis social play. The club will also be offering great membership/program discounts on the day – for anyone looking to pick up a racket in 2020.
” A couple of our most popular programs are Hot Shots for the kids and Social Tennis (Open Court Sessions) for the adults” said venue manager Tim Connelly. “With programs on everyday throughout the week we have something for all levels of play – that also fits in with family’s schedules. Not to mention there is Kumon and English classes that are also held in the community rooms on a weekly basis”. Connelly went onto say.
