Festival of Tennis – something for the whole family..

The Festival of Tennis and Pickleball is a fantastic opportunity to explore all the racket sport action at Hume Tennis and Community Centre. This week-long event, running from Monday, October 21st to Sunday, October 28th, offers something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

There will be Tennis Hot Shots for kids under 10, Cardio Tennis for adults, Pickleball for all ages, and plenty of competitions and social activities throughout the week. It’s the perfect chance to dive into tennis at the club.

Located in Craigieburn, Hume Tennis and Community Centre was proudly named Tennis Victoria’s “Club of the Year” in 2023. The club is nationally recognised for its Hot Shots program and tennis tournaments. With the recent introduction of Pickleball and its renowned Wheelchair Tennis Hub, Hume Tennis is the perfect spot for family-friendly tennis fun.

Activities for the week are complementary and can be booked by calling 1300 HUME TC (1300 486 382).

Hume’s tennis coaches are among the best in Australia, having been honoured with the Newcombe Medal—a national award recognising their outstanding contribution to ANZ Hot Shots Tennis for children under 10. Offering lessons seven days a week, the Hot Shots program is the perfect way to introduce kids to the sport of tennis.

If you’re seeking competitive play, Hume offers something for players of all levels. Whether it’s ladies’, men’s, or juniors’ competitions, there’s action happening most days of the week.

Club memberships at Hume are highly popular, offering a unique feature that allows members to customise their membership based on how they prefer to play. Hume is also the only club in the region with the Book-A-Court system, enabling both members and non-members to conveniently book courts online.

Every Saturday at 1:30 PM, Hume hosts Wheelchair Tennis sessions. As the first Wheelchair Hub established by Tennis Australia, Hume provides an opportunity for both new and experienced players to learn and enjoy the game each week.
