A quick snap shot of 2017 – whats happened:
2017 saw the first time Hume had teams in the local North Suburban Tennis Association tennis competition. We achieved four flags for the 2017 year: junior division (2), night division (1) and ladies tennis (1)
We also introduced Book-a-Court which allows members to access the courts through an online booking system. We are the first Craigieburn Tennis Club that allows access to a tennis court through an electronic gate system – no key or membership required.
Tennis Tournaments were a great success with five levels of competition available: Hot Shots, Junior Development Series, Junior Tour, Australian Money Tournaments and International Tennis Federation. To win the Newcombe Medal for ” 2017 Tennis Tournament of the Year” was great reward and encouragement for all who help at the events.
