Hume Tennis is proud to host a Come ’n Try Wheelchair Tennis Day on Sunday, January 18, held on the opening day of the Melbourne Wheelchair Tennis Open. This special day is a fantastic opportunity for new and aspiring players to be introduced to wheelchair tennis by Tennis Australia’s Wheelchair Tennis Coaches, who will guide participants through the basics of the sport in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. No prior experience is required — just a willingness to give it a go! The Hume Tennis Junior Program is much more than just a weekly tennis lesson—each junior receives their weekly coaching session along with access to court bookings so they can keep practicing outside of lesson times. What makes the program unique is the included “Plus One” membership, allowing a friend, parent, or carer to play with the junior member.
