As we approach the midpoint of 2026, it’s the perfect time to celebrate what has already been an incredible year for the Hume Tennis community.
From junior development and competition success to participation growth across tennis and pickleball, the first six months of the year have showcased the passion, commitment and community spirit that make Hume Tennis such a special place.
Historic Junior Competition Success
One of the highlights of the season has been the outstanding performance of our junior competition teams in the NSJTA competition.
This season, Hume Tennis proudly fielded 18 junior teams, with an incredible 13 teams qualifying for finals. Even more exciting, 7 Hume Tennis teams have progressed through to Grand Finals this weekend — a new club record and a remarkable achievement for our players, coaches, volunteers and families.
The success reflects the hard work and dedication of our junior players, the support of their families, and the outstanding efforts of our coaching team who continue to develop players both on and off the court.
Regardless of the results this weekend, every player who represented Hume Tennis throughout the season should be incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they have represented our club.
Join Us for a Club Celebration
To recognise this fantastic achievement and celebrate the first half of the year together, we invite all Hume Tennis players, members and families to join us for a special club celebration.

The afternoon will include:
- Recognition and celebration of all Hume Tennis junior teams
- Presentations for our Premiership and Grand Final winning teams
- Social Tennis for players and families
- Pickleball activities for everyone to enjoy
- Free BBQ
- Active Inflatables and family fun activities
This is a chance for our entire community to come together and enjoy everything that makes Hume Tennis awesome.
