Friday 5 April from 6pm Hume will hold it’s annual Easter BBQ and this year there will be many special reasons for members to come down and celebrate.
A couple of weeks ago the first Hume Tennis and Community Centre Club Championships were played and on Friday we will celebrate the winners. Mens Singles, Women Singles, Mens Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles champions will all be presented. A honour board is being constructed and the winners of these events will all take pride of place at the top of the board.
Can you beat the Bunny?? For the kids, the Easter Bunny will be here and many of you may not know but he has a jumping good forehand and lots of eggs to give away. There will be an Easter egg hunt, what a great way to kick off the holidays.
At 7.30pm there will be the Coaches Social Doubles Tournament. This is a popular event with all members and non-members, if you would like to play – please call the office on 1300486 382 to register.
Also Term 1 2019 will see a very popular coach leave Hume. James Connelly has decided to return to Perth to continue his tennis coaching. The night will be the perfect opportunity to come down and farewell James.
If this is not enough – on the Big Screen will be AFL match, Essendon and Melbourne. If you have not seen sport on our Huge Outdoor Screen then this is the perfect opportunity.
Oh yes and don’t forget the yummy BBQ which is complimentary to all members and just $5 for non. Please contact reception to book in.
