Hume Tennis is proud to host a Come ’n Try Wheelchair Tennis Day on Sunday, January 18, held on the opening day of the Melbourne Wheelchair Tennis Open.
This special day is a fantastic opportunity for new and aspiring players to be introduced to wheelchair tennis by Tennis Australia’s Wheelchair Tennis Coaches, who will guide participants through the basics of the sport in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. No prior experience is required — just a willingness to give it a go!
Participants and families will also have the chance to watch some of the best wheelchair tennis players in the world compete, experiencing the speed, skill, skill, and athleticism of elite international wheelchair tennis up close.
To finish the day, players and families are warmly invited to attend the official Welcome Ceremony of the Melbourne Wheelchair Tennis Open, followed by a relaxed Aussie BBQ, celebrating the start of an exciting week of world-class competition at Hume Tennis.
