Come and meet Australian Tennis Gold Medalists from the Rio Olympics at Hume on Sunday October 16th, 10am. Hume Tennis and Community Centre is one of Tennis Australia’s new Wheelchair Tennis Hubs and this day will introduce players, families and friends to this great sport. The Open day will give everyone a chance to try tennis and wheelchair tennis and hear the inspiring story of the amazing wheelchair athletes.
If you are an inspired by the Rio Olympics then this is the perfect day to come, celebrate and try tennis.
This day welcomes everybody and not just those who are in a chair.
A run down of the day includes:
10am – Welcome and sign in
10.30am – Player interview and photo opportunity
11.00am – Learn some skills
11.30am – Walk and roll competition
12.oo – Big Rackets v’s Big wheels
12.30pm – BBQ
