Are an umbrella tour that provides a clear competitive pathway for aspiring tennis players.  The JT tournaments offer a points race to the end of year DECEMBER SHOWDOWN. These tournaments offer points across the 12/u, 14/u, and 16/u age groups. See below for our next scheduled tournament.

Consisting of 13 junior tournaments, players will compete against their own age and sex, under the supervision of Tennis Australia’s recognised Tournament Directors and Coaches.

ITF Melbourne Wheelchair Open

Each year in January, Hume hosts the ITF Melbourne Wheelchair Tennis Open, which sees the best men and women wheelchair tennis players in the world compete prior to playing the Australian Open. In 2020, all of the Top 10 men and 8 of the top 10 women players competed at Hume.

Tennis Australia Open Series (Old AMT)

Open events are semi-professional tournaments introduced by Tennis Australia.  They are designed to create quality matchplay opportunities and help with the transition for post-junior athletes. To allow for the preservation and integrity of the Tennis Australia brand, a set of controlled delivery requirements has been aligned to each tier. Hume is proud to host multiple open events.
